Nevermind, I found the answer to someone else. I can connect and browse the stores online through WMP so I don't know that it needs to connect to the internet. Retrieve additional information from the internet are checked and media files updated to retrieve information from the internet is selected too. I checked to make sure that I work online and am. It worked fine with no new changes two days ago and now it is not. After clicking on it, the dialog box appears and a small globe in the upper left corner turns for a few seconds, then stops and nothing happens. I'm looking to "find album info" by right-clicking on the album in Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7. Windows Media Player find manually the info from the album when selected. (c) select the folder Media Player and then click on Delete on the file menu. (b) click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoftand then click OK. If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database. Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder. (c), select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
